Forty Thieves has collaborated with internationally renowned British artist Jacques Nimki (Art Of Garden, Tate Britain; The Approach; Ikon, Birmingham) to design a limited edition rug, Florilegium. Florilegium is hand knotted in 100% pure wool and individually hand washed to achieve a timeless finish. The muted palate reflects nature on a crisp autumnal day with deep russets, reds, oranges and mustards against a backdrop of eggshell white and sky blue. Forty Thieves will produce a limited edition collection of 10 Florilegium rugs. Once the rug arrives back from the weavers, Nimki adds his own final touches using samples of the natural dyes. This ensures that each rug is completely unique and will thus become a collector’s item. Price starts from £2850 for 170x240cm rug or £700 per sq metre for a bespoke size. |
